I. Micro Mapper finished a successful field data collection season
We finished field data collection for all the targeted cities this year. Now we are focusing to integrate the collected field data: addresses, traffic restrictions, POI and other field attributes in our map database.
The new field collected data is available for: Alba Iulia, Bacău, Baia Mare, Craiova, Iaşi, Piatra Neamţ, Ploieşti, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Suceava şi Zalău
This way we will be able to deliver at the end of January a set of 21 big city’s detailed spatial database, offering to our clients a 24% coverage of population with addresses and traffic restrictions.
II. Micro Mapper signed the contract with ANCPI for the high accuracy orthophoto
National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) and Micro Mapper have agreed on the terms of using high accuracy orthophoto to make under 3 meter precision digital maps for GPS navigation and other GIS application. This way ANCPI will be the main spatial data provider for Micro Mapper’s high precision digital maps.
The acquired orthophoto will be used as reference for digitization and also as an aid in the fieldworks.
III. Micro Mapper contacted almost every City Halls from the country
Throughout 2009 Micro Mapper contacted 291 City Halls to start a partnership for digital data regarding street names and other geodata. We received a positive feedback and different kind of geodata from 121 City Halls. We signed a contract with 41 City Halls to provide them with the digital interactive map of their city.
